Heather Van Assche and Ricki Keller Receive Florida E.I. Certifications!

Genesis supports training and mentoring opportunities to promote the growth and development for our next generation of professionals. We are thrilled to announce that two of our young professionals, Heather Van Assche, E.I., and Ricki Keller, E.I., have both recently passed the NCEES Fundamental Exam and obtained their Florida E.I. Certifications. As Engineer Interns, Heather and Ricki perform engineering tasks under the supervision and guidance of a Professional Engineer (P.E.).

Ricki Keller, E.I.

Ricki is a recent graduate of West Virginia University and Slippery Rock University. She joined Genesis as an Engineer Intern and her current responsibilities include assisting with the preparation of construction documents, computer aided drafting/design, utility design, site grading, performing storm drainage calculations/design, and preparing drainage reports. Her recent project experience includes the Reserve at Pradera, Reserve at Citrus Park, Triple Creek, and Brandon Crossroads Self-Storage.

Heather Van Assche, E.I.

Heather is a recent graduate from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering. Her current duties include assisting with project permitting, coordinating with the project design team to communicate plan statuses and updates, preparing preliminary plans and construction documents, and preparing drainage reports and analysis. Her recent project experience includes Mission San Luis Pond Test; 4th, 5th, and 6th Beach Park Development in Okaloosa County; ITS Design-Build on I-10 As Built Plans; and FAMU Way.
